Pollen's In the Air

(to the tune Love is in the Air)

Pollen’s in the air.
Everywhere I look around
Pollen’s in the air.
See it covering the ground.

And I don’t know if it can bear it
Don’t know if I will sneeze
But it’s something that I’ll have to live with
While I hack, and I cough, and I wheeze.

Pollen’s in the air.
And it’s coming from the trees
Pollen’s in the air
And it brings me to my knees

And it covers my new black Saturn
It covers my once clean hair
I can write my name through all of that green gunk
Hear my lungs try to filter through air

(Chorus)
Pollen’s in the air
Pollen’s in the air
Oh oh sniff
Oh oh drip

Pollen’s in the air
Never really any fun
Pollen’s in the air
Phlegm projectiles like a gun

And I can't help but think it's pollution
That old dance of flowers in bloom
If you plants have to breed in my yard, now
Go pack up and get you a room.
