BP

(to "Born Free")

BP
We’re free cos’ the oil flows
On balance sheet cash grows
We’re free for lawyers are smart

BP
Our ocean was once blue
Yet darker shade suits you
At beach, you’ll love all the tar

BP
Our profits will soothe you
You’ll like us in 4-0-1
So please, from us, don’t run

BP
The sea is worth saving
‘Less we’re misbehaving
(Then)Don’t knock BP

(We dream, free markets will come true)
Then free of these safety binds
Then we’ll po-lice our crimes

BP
So stop all your whining
And get with your driving
And fund BP.

Requiem for Small Things (or How to Succeed in Business, Be Too Big to Fail, and Write Your Own Regulations)

.
I’ve nothing against banks succeeding
Even if their largess leads to grieving
But if what you are doin’
Could lead nations to ruin
Your dismantling, methinks, should be speedy.

Goldman Sachs Chairman

(to Glen Campbell's Witchita Lineman)

I am the banker for your bounty
Though you question my soul
Hear my silver tongue, see my coffers overflow
Does your 4-0-1 look tired?
Do your returns make you cry?
I’m the Goldman Sachs chairman
Who beat the sub-prime.

It’s a simple math equation
When you play our shell game
Sell to those you bet against, then clean up when they flame
No our morals won’t entice you,
And it’s doubtful we’ll do time
I’m the Goldman Sachs chairman
You’re paid for our crime

Who says greed will never help you?
Don’t let someone feed you lines.
I’m the Goldman Sachs chairman
I’m av'rice refined.
