Cold is a feeling
It’s wet and windy
Something akin to
Distant friendly

My skin it bumps
Alerts reacting
Arms retracting
In coat I’m fastening
The fall is fattening
Sipping sultry soulful soup
And the ahhhh’s have it…

Warm is a feeling
It calls for needing
Something akin to
Cold retreating.
