Grit
Soft and sweeping and shifty
Unpredictable in the winds and through the tides
Waves come and pack tightly
Suitcase sits
Shirts, shoes, socks, slacks, shorts, and assorted stuff
Monday hovers like the end of the world
And you see it over the white caps
Packing your time together.
